MARIETTA, Ga. – No. 6 Life University fell to No. 4 Cumberlands 25-12 on Wednesday.
The Running Eagles picked up its first win in the 141 match, as
Mason Calvert took a 9-6 decision. In the 157 match,
Denver Stonecheck earned a 7-3 decision.
Nosomy Pozo won the 165 match with a 3-2 decision. In the 197 match,
Dalton Bailey took a 4-2 decision.
In the 125 match, Stephen Gordy lost by fall 1:12. Donovan Hough dropped the 133 match in a 16-1 technical fall.
Mason Calvert scored a 9-6 decision in the 141 match.
Dimitri Alicea fell in a 18-3 technical fall. In the 174 match,
Anthony Carter dropped a 9-4 decision.
Hunter Smith fell in a 10-5 decision in the 184 match. Diallo Matismella lost the 197 match in a 7-2 decision.
The Running Eagles will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 3 as they travel to Lebanon, Tenn. to face off against Cumberland and No. 12 Campbellsville.
