MOUNT VERNON, Ga. ---- The No. 7 nationally ranked Life University men's wrestling team bounced back with a 27-18 victory over (RV) Brewton-Parker College Friday night.
 
DeVaughn Sapien earned an 11-7 decision at the 125 weight-class as Dashaniel Porter also earned a 9-4 decision at 133 to give Life U an early 6-0 lead.
 
BPC brought the dual to within two with a four-point major decision at 141, however Little Nelson responded with an 8-0 major decision at 149. Syd Ohl continued his dominance at 149 with a pin to give Life U a 16-4 lead.
 
Lucius Van Rensburg won via forfeit as Brandon Hill provided the final points at 285 with a pin to give the Running Eagles the 27-18 victory.
 
The men's wrestling program will return to action Sunday, December 16 when the team will travel to the Leconte Center in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. to compete in the Pigeon Forge Duals.
