Running Eagles Varsity and Club Rugby Sweep Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. – Life University varsity and club rugby swept Clemson with varsity earning a 63-3 victory and the club squad earning a 54-0 on Saturday.
The club squad open their match with a quick 12-0 lead. They took a 12-0 lead into the half. After the intermission,
Zander Van Schalkwyk added two tries to push the lead to 39-0. Sammy Wagner scored the final try to give Life U a 54-0 victory.
The Varsity Running Eagles will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 17 as they welcome Lindenwood to Lupo Family Field. The club side will travel to Charlotte, N.C. on Saturday, Feb. 24 to face off against Charlotte Rugby.
