Marietta, GA – Men's rugby beat a tough Army squad 41-10 Saturday in the men's D1A quarterfinals at Lupo Family Field.  They move on to play the winner of Cal vs. Navy next Saturday, April 28th at 2:30pm at Lupo Family Field in the national semi-finals.  The game will be broadcasted live on CBS Sports.

Brian Mutanga opened up the game with a try two minutes into the game and Duncan Van Schalkwyk was good on the conversion to put Life U up 7-0 early.  However, after some defensive pressure and a great back line move near the corner, Army scored and converted the extra points, tying the game 7-7.  A penalty kick from Army after a Life U offsides put the Running Eagles behind 7-10, 20 minutes into the game.

Mutanga got his second try of the day after a driving maul took Life U down to 5 meters out, putting the Running Eagles back in the lead 12-10.  Just before half Maciu Koroi finished off a great break from Justin Johnson and completed the try putting the Running Eagles up 17-10 going into the half.

Life U opened up the second half with an Austin White try.  The back line helped put White through on the wing to score his second of the game and Van Schalkwyk added the conversion making the game 29-10.  Soon after, Justin Johnson crossed the line for another Life U try.

Austin White earned a hat trick for the day with a try at the 69th minute.  Matthew Mairowitz added the conversion to bring the score to 41-10, then closed the game with a penalty kick to end the game 44-10.
