Women's Rugby Finish CRC Pool Play 3-0 in Dominating Fashion

Philadelphia ---- The Life University Women's Rugby Team finished the opening day at the 2018 Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championships a flawless 3-0, while outscoring opponents 152-0.
The Running Eagles faced Virginia Tech early in the morning, but earned a hard-fought 22-0 victory. Next, Life University took down Bloomsburg 55-0 with a 75-0 victory over Drexel in the nightcap.
"It was another good first day of CRC for us. I am really happy with our defensive efforts after three shutouts," head coach
Rosalind Chou stated. "Once our women got into the groove, they started to gel together and play really fast and exciting Life University rugby."
The women advance to the final stages of the championship as the second overall seed, and will face Navy at 8:40 A.M. inside Talen Energy Stadium. The game will also be aired on ESPN+Â . Follow along on
