Women's Rugby Finish Third at 2018 Penn Mutual CRC

Philadelphia ---- The Life University Women's Rugby Team finished third at the 2018 Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championships with a 22-14 victory over NSCRO to end the tournament.
The Running Eagles fell behind 14-12 in the downpour late against NSCRO, but responded to earn third place at the championships.
Earlier in the day, the women faced Lindenwood in the semifinals. The contest was a back and forth affair as Life battled to the very end, but fell 17-14.
"It was a great weekend overall for the team, and the whole time they gave 100% effort," head coach
Rosalind Chou stated. "I couldn't be prouder of an amazing bunch of young student-athletes. We have some seniors who gave their all these past few years and we gave them a great send off. We are ready for next season and will continue to work hard."
The women finish the season 28-5 and the USA Rugby D1 Elite National Runner-Ups and third at the USA Rugby Collegiate 7s tournament.
