MARIETTA, Ga. ---- Life University men's wrestling head coach Omi Acosta announced the completed 2020-21 schedule Tuesday morning.

The team Running Eagles will look to continue the program's success through a series of opens and duals, as they will also host the first Life U Open on November 14. Due to department policies, fans will not be able to attend this event, but further information on how the event can be viewed will be released at a lated date. The Mid-South Conference Championships are currently slated to take place on February 12-13 in Bowling Green, Ky.

Acosta mentioned, "With all this uncertainty, we are happy to step on the mat and compete this year. As a coaching staff, we are excited to see wht this group can do this season."

The team will open the new season on the road on November 4, as they travel to Truett McConnell University for a dual. They will then travel to the University of the Cumberlands to compete in the Patriot Open on November 7 before hosting the Life U Open on the 14th. The first home dual will feature Montreat College on November 18 at 6 PM, as the Running Eagles will then head to Des Moines, Iowa to compete in the Grand View Open.

December will feature a pair of duals on the road December 12 against Keiser University and the 16th against Campbellsville University which will take place at Allatoona HS. January will prove to be the biggest challenge as the Running Eagles will host six duals inside the Eagles' Nest. Southeastern (1/16), Keiser (1/24 & 1/31), Cumberland (1/29), Allen (1/29) and Reinhardt (1/31) will all travel down to campus during the month. February will feature a pair of road duals against Brewton-Parker and St. Thomas before the MSC Championships. The full schedule can be found here: Life U Men's Wrestling 2020-21 Schedule

More updates will be released when the NAIA announces championship dates and venues. Times will be announced closer to the dates of competition.
