Life U Athletics Announces ASA Leadership

MARIETTA, Ga. ---- The Life University Association of Student Athletes completed its internal election process for leadership positions within the organization.

The elected leaders were: 
President: Trent Dungey (Men's Swimming)
Vice President: Silja Petursdóttir (Women's Track & Field)
Secretary: Dora Reizinger (Women's Swimming)
Treasurer: Marina Pechonkina (Women's Lacrosse)
 
The Life U ASA will serve as the voice for all Life U student-athletes, as they discuss issues of concern, offer feedback on behalf of their teams to the department of athletics, and propose legislation or policy updates as needed. They will work together as a team with an ultimate goal of enhancing the student-athlete experience, and empowering their peers to continue to make Life U the best that it can be.
 
Along with the leadership team, the additional inaugural members were named:

Denver Stonecheck (Men's Wrestling)
Hailey Finn (Women's Wrestling)
George Walden, Jr. (Bowling)

Stan Vandierendonck (Men's Soccer)
J. Ryan Pruitt (Men's Club Rugby)
Jeron Pantor (Men's Rugby)
Maddison Zaben (Women's Rugby)
Steve Araujo (Men's Volleyball)
Julia Mollick (Women's Volleyball)

We will represent Life University's diverse student-athlete population as we work to unify our peers, promote healthy competition in all aspects of our on-campus experience, and contribute to our department so that we leave it better than when we arrived.
