MARIETTA, Ga. ---- The No. 4 Life University men's rugby team earned a dominant 112-0 home victory over fellow D1A opponent Texas A&M Saturday afternoon.

Life U held a 62-0 lead at the half, as this marks the largest margin of victory since a 119-0 win over South Carolina in 2016.

The offensive effort was firing on all cylinders as the following players scored:
Chase Schor-Haskin (4)
Brian Muntanga (3)
Karch Hoffman (3)
Tabonga Ngonyamo (2)
Sean Lenzsch (2)
Julian Roberts
George Phelan
Conner Mooneyham
Damorian Travis

Ngonyamo made eight conversions as Pantor added three.

Following the win, head coach Colton Cariaga had this to say, "Firstly, thanks to Texas A&M for making the trip out and giving us an opportunity to compete. They were pretty good at putting up contestable restarts and were tough in the breakdown. It was a great opportunity for us to work on those areas." Cariaga continued, "We are still working on bringing that penalty count down. That's something we have talked about and trained, but still need to mature a bit on that end. Lastly, it was great to see some young guys in the mix who made a real positive contribution overall on the day."

The men's rugby team will return to action on Saturday, March 14, as they welcome No. 10 Davenport University. The D1A Midsouth match is scheduled to begin at 1 PM on Lupo Family Field. Fans can follow along with the broadcast provided by FloRugby here: http://bit.ly/2U0LwDO
