SPARTANBURG, S.C. ---- The Life University men's bowling team placed third at the SCAD Baker Bash over the weekend, as the Running Eagles earned two All-Tournament performances from Colby Hagemoser and Andrew Martin.

This marks the second consecutive tournament where Hagemoser has earned All-Tournament honors with his third place overall finish. Martin finished just behind him fourth overall for the event.

Head coach Nate Garcia shared his thoughts on the event stating, "The team is getting better and better every tournament. This weekend was no different. After our 5 games of qualifying, the team was in 2nd place behind SCAD Savannah. We had two of our student athletes make the All-Tournament Team. Hagemoser and Martin finished in the top five out of 60 athletes. The second day was a bit of a struggle in the 10 baker games, but we managed to hold onto a top 3 spot going into bracket match play. It was best of 3 against SCAD ATL and the team ended up falling short 2-1 finishing this weekend in 3rd place. Coach Elise and I are very proud at how this team has grown and developed these last couple months. Their hard work shows in each tournament that we bowl. Now it's time to gear up for post season at the start of January."

The men's bowling team will return to action on Saturday, January 8, when they travel to Smyrna, Tenn. for the 2022 Brandon Burns Memorial which will be hosted by the Mid-South Conference.
