Speaking on the opportunity to grow that the short notice competition gave them, head coach Ashley Flavin said, "We got a call from the coaches at Presbyterian College asking for us to come over Sunday and wrestle after they had a late cancellation on their schedule. We used this opportunity in different ways for our athletes to see where they stand as we move toward the championship portion of the season."
Looking forward to future dates Flavin stated, "We will take the lessons from this weekend and implement them in the room over the next few practices before we head to Indiana Tech at the end of this week. We'll continue to gather data and are excited to be back at full strength when we get to The Midlands Championships in December 30."
The women's wrestling team goes back on the road this weekend, starting with a tri-match at Indiana Tech Friday against the Warriors and Davenport before taking part in the Warrior Women's Open the following day.
