MARIETTA, Ga. – The Life University men's wrestling team released its 2021-22 schedule Saturday, with competition starting in early November.

The 2021 NAIA National Champions open the season November 1 as they head to Chapel Hill, N.C. to face NCAA Division 1 UNC along with Emmanuel and Queens University of Charlotte. 

They will then host Truett McConnell on Nov. 4 at 6 PM in the home opener before a pair of opens at the University of the Cumberlands and Emmanuel.

The 2021 season will also feature the Life U Open on Nov. 20 that is slated to host some of the top programs the NAIA has to offer. The team will then host Brewton-Parker on December 8 before traveling to the MSC Conference Challenge Duals on December 11. The Running Eagles will travel to Reinhardt for a tri-dual with the Eagles and the University of the Cumberlands. 

Kicking off the new year, the team will return to compete in the NWCA National Duals in Louisville, Ky. from January 6-7. They will again hit the road to Missouri Valley on January 21-22 for the Missouri Valley Invitational, before a pair of home matches with St. Thomas on January 28 and Cumberland on January 30. Wrapping up the home schedule, Life U will host Keiser on Friday, February 11 at 6 PM.   

The Mid-South Conference Championships are slated for Friday, February 18 and Saturday, February 19 in Bowling Green, Ky., with the NAIA Championships March 4-5 with the location still to be determined.
