Cheer Performs Two Zero Deduction Routines at Tiger Invite

GEORGETOWN, Ky. --- In their first in person competition of the season, the Life University competitive cheer team performed excellently avoiding deductions in both rounds at the Tiger Invite Friday night.
In the first round the team hit a score of 81.8, while they did even better in the second round with a score of 82.46. The totals would be good enough to see Life U rank just outside of the top five NAIA average scores currently.
The team gave head coach
Sara Killough much to be excited about. "I am incredibly proud of this team, taking the mat for the first time in person this season.  We ended up pulling in two alternates in the 48 hours leading up the competition." Killough finished saying, "This team worked seamlessly to put on a good show in Georgetown!"
The cheer team competes again next weekend, performing in a Mid-South Conference competition at Bethel University Sunday, February 6th.
