CLEMSON, Ga. --- This weekend the Life University indoor track and field team took a small contingent to the Bob Pollock Invite, an NCAA DI competition, showing good results as the team posted four NAIA A-Standards and two NAIA B-Standards.

On the women's side, Iantha Wight continues her dominance of the short track, upping her previous best in the 60m dash with a blisteringly fast time of 7.36 on her way to a 6th place finish. Her time is not only the best in the NAIA by a sizable margin this year, but stands as the fourth best time in NAIA Women's Indoor Track history. Alisha Wright also earned an A-Standard in the 60m hurdles, finishing in a time of 9.00 seconds. The only other standard met by the women came from Kaylee Lowe in the long jump, hitting a distance of 5.58m.

The men were highlighted by a pair of A-standards in the same event, Ngoni Chadyiwa finishing a hair before Jacob Ulrich in the 400m dash to place 10th in the event while Ulrich grabbed 11th. Their times of 48.39 and 48.41, respectively, are the seventh and eighth best times in the NAIA this year. Life U's final standard came via Sameer Mateen hitting a B-Standard in the 60m dash with a time of 6.92.

The Running Eagles next compete in the Mid-South Conference Championships to held on February 18th and 19th.
