Cheer Defeats St. Andrews With Program Best Score of 91.95

MARIETTA, Ga. --- The Life University competitive cheerleading team competed against St. Andrews in a virtual competition tonight, posting a program best score of 91.95 to win the event.
Recording scores of 94 and 89.9 from the judges, the Running Eagles recorded a landslide victory in the virtual competition of 91.95-74.85.

Sara Killough was proud of her team closing out the regular season with a fantastic performance, saying, " The team got back out on the blue mat for one last regular season competition tonight. This team has more heart and determination than I have ever seen. What a great way to wrap up the regular season with a first place win and a new high score record for the cheer program!"
At this point, the cheer team will wait and see if they receive a bid to the NAIA Championships. The team is in strong position with a current top-10 ranking, but will know if they are in or not later in February.
