The Lions took advantage of early opportunities and had an early lead at the break. Life U scored a penalty try near the end of the match, but the effort would be too late as Lindenwood won 19-7.
Head coach
Rosalind Chou shared her thoughts on the event stating, "It's been an amazing ride, and I was so happy to end it with this squad that was so connected and grew very close through this grueling season. They played their guts out until the end and put on an excellent display of 7s. We had an amazing support network and a special shout out to the men's program and adding Ish-maeel Safodien to the coaching staff on this final stretch which was a great boost to the squad. I have loved every minute and can't wait to see what this special group will continue to do in seasons to come."
