Life University Athletics

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --- Last week the NAIA announced their NAIA Scholar-Teams and Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the 2021-22 season, Life University improving on last year by placing an impressive 60 student-athletes on the list while also having 13 teams recognized.

In order to gain recognition as an NAIA Scholar-Team, the team must have a combined minimum of a 3.0 grade-point average as defined by the institution. To be considered for Daktronic NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, a student-athlete must have maintained a 3.5 GPA and be in their junior year academically.

The 13 teams that earned honors are women's soccer, women's swim and dive, women's basketball, co-ed cheerleading, men's volleyball, women's volleyball, women's wrestling, women's lacrosse, women's cross country, women's indoor track and field, women's outdoor track and field, men's basketball, and men's soccer.
