Club Rugby Celebrates Life Extravaganza Weekend with Win over TN Elite

MARIETTA, Ga. --- The Life University Club Rugby team opened their 2023-24 home slate Saturday night, besting Tennessee Elite 40-10. Capping off an exciting alumni weekend with firework celebrations.
The Running Eagles saw a combination of players record tries, as Tevita Mapa tallied two, while Josh Kindias, Ross Deacon, Dario Porta, and Mel Tueli all recorded one try each. Additionally, Matias Corrado converted six tries after missing the first one.
Director of Men's Rugby, Blake Bradford shared his thoughts on the exciting weekend and celebration, stating, "It is always a big honor to play in front of our alumni during the Fall celebration weekend. We were very happy to get a home win and secure some valuable points in the ARP South standings. It wasn't a perfect performance and there were some good lessons in managing momentum, but we look forward to getting back to work for a big game next week."
The Running Eagles will face NOLA next Saturday, October 7th at 11 am.
