Director of Men's Rugby, Blake Bradford shared his thoughts on the performance, stating, "Coming off our close loss to Navy, we focused on fine-tuning some of our systems and working on our decision-making in key areas of the field. We know it's a long season and we want to continue growing as a team."

Assistant Head Coach Benny Mateialona led the team from the sidelines in Virginia, and shared the team's mindset going into the match, "We knew we needed to match their physicality and we wanted to start fast, so that was the challenge I gave the men going into the game. The men executed on those things and we built a good lead early on."

The Running Eagles will face Queens from the University of Charlotte next, hosting the Royals for a FloRugby Match on Saturday, October 21st at 1 pm.
