MARIETTA, Ga. — The Life University men's rugby team traveled to West Point over the weekend, downing the reigning champs with a competitive win over Army 39-24.

Scoring first for the Running Eagles was Logan Ballinger with a try in the 4th minute. Bradley Crane then hit the conversion before Crane hit two more penalty kicks to add to the score in the 9th and 20th minute. Army then halted the Running Eagles attacked until the second half as there was a 40 minute break between scores when Adam Chadwick score a try in the 56th minute. Matt Carrion scored again in the 62nd minute before Chadwick broke through in the 67th and 80th minute to conclude the impressive win. 

All in all, Crane delivered four conversions and two penalty kicks. 

The Running Eagles will next host Mount Saint Mary College this upcoming Saturday, November 4th at 1 pm.
