The Running Eagles set the pace of the game after Mystic River scored a penalty try, by starting off with a try from Harley Davidson in the 34 minute bringing the score 7-3 going into the half.
Early in the second half, Mystic River bounced back in the 44 minute bringing the score to 10-7. The Running Eagles were not ready to give up yet, as they converted quickly down the field two minutes later with a try from Karch Hoffman in the 47th minute.
The battle continued as Mystic River turned around and brought the score back close to 17-14. The Running Eagles pushed forward and never looked back with a try from Tevita Mapa to bring a four point difference 21-17.
