MARIETTA, Ga. – The Life University Competitive Cheer program, led by head coach Sara Killough, returned to the floor for a virtual competition against Talladega College Tuesday night.  After scoring an average of 77.29 points in their first two competitions in the Life U. open, the Running Eagles ran away with the dual notching a season-high 85.55 points.

Head coach Sara Killough shared her thoughts postgame, stating, "This virtual competition win was just what we needed to start off our conference championship tournament weekend.  The team has logged many many gym hours since last taking the mat in January. Our win last night was a direct result of all that hard work. I'm incredibly proud of this team and we can't wait to head into this weekend both mentally and physically strong!"

The Running Eagles next compete at Mobile this Friday.
