Men's Wrestling Releases 2023-24 Schedule

MARIETTA, Ga. – The Life University men's wrestling team released its 2023-24 schedule this week, with competition starting in early November.
The 2022 NAIA National Runner Ups open the season November 5th as they head to Virginia Tech to compete in a Division 1 open, The Southeast Open.
They will then travel to Emmanuel College on Nov. 12th for the Georgia Open in Franklin Springs, GA.
The 2022-2023 season will also feature the Life U Open on Nov. 18 that is slated to host some of the top programs the NAIA has to offer. The team will then travel to Newberry, SC for a dual with NCAA D2 Newberry College on December 2
nd.
Following the dual on 12/2, the Running Eagles will turn around and have another dual on 12/5 against Brewton Parker College at home. To cap off 2023, Men's Wrestling will travel to Gatlinburg, TN to host the Rocky Top Duals on 12/16.
Kicking off the new year, the team will return to compete in the NWCA National Duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa on January 5-6. On January 14
th the Running Eagles will travel to in-state rival Reinhardt University. They will again hit the road to Missouri Valley on January 19-20 for the Missouri Valley Invitational. Then, they will travel to Lander University to take on a NCAA Division 2 opponent on 1/26.
Life University will then travel to Cleveland, GA to compete in the 2024 AAC Conference Championship Duals. To wrap up the regular season, Life University finishes with a pair duals. First dual will be at Southeastern Univeristy in Lakeland, FL on 2/2. Finally, the Running Eagles will be finishing with Senior Night against Truett McConnell at Life University.
The Appalachian Athletic Conference Championships are slated for Saturday, February 17
th hosted by Southeastern University, with the NAIA Championships February 29
th – March 2
nd in Wichita, KS.
