Competition Cheer Opens 2024 Campaign with a Pair of Duals against Point

MARIETTA, Ga. – The Life University Competitive Cheer program, led by head coach Sara Killough, opened their 2024 campaign with a pair of duals against Point University Saturday afternoon. The Running Eagles improved their first dual score of 88.85 in the second dual, topping the previous mark with an impressive 89.7 score in the second dual. Averaging a score of 89.28, the Running Eagles currently sit in 6th in the NAIA with the highest SSAC score this year.
Head coach Sara Killough shared her thoughts postgame, stating, "We look forward to our meet with Point every year and I'm very proud of how we opened the season. I can't wait to get back to work next week as we prepare for our next comps!"
The Running Eagles remain home for their next competition, competing in the Eagles' Nest at the Life University Classic on March 8th.
