MARIETTA, Ga. --- Despite a slow start to the game, the Life University men's rugby team bounced back to down Arkansas State by a score of 29-20 Saturday afternoon at Lupo Family Field.

It was a slow start to the game for the Running Eagles, seeing them in a 9-0 hole within the first 12 minutes. In the midway point of the first half, a try by Tristan Hübsch and a conversion by Jeron Pantor put the Eagles' on the scoreboard and from there on the Running Eagles' never looked back.

Eight minutes later, Ishma-eel Safodien scored the second try for the Eagles' and Patron had another successful conversion to put the Eagles' in the lead 14-13. Right before halftime, Safoiden was back with his second try for the game, making the Running Eagles' comfortably go into halftime 19-13.

It did not take long into the second half for Life U to dot down another try, Logan Ballinger bulldozing his way in for a try to extend the lead 24-13 just minutes into the period. The Running Eagle's kept the Red Wolves away from the scoring line until the 70th minute. With 5 minutes left of the game Patron scored a penalty for Life U, ending the game with a 29-20 win.

The Running Eagles next compete against Penn State University at home on Lupo Family Field, a game to be played on March 16th at 4 PM.
