MARIETTA, Ga. – Life University's women's lacrosse team battled early versus SCAD on Saturday afternoon on Senior Day, but couldn't keep the pace as the Bees swarmed away with a 18-4 win at Lupo Family Field.

The Running Eagles trailed 2-1 early on as both teams battled it out in the first quarter, until the Bees scored eight goals in the second quarter to guarantee a win for SCAD.

In the third quarter, the Bees kept Life U scoreless and was able to push the lead large enough to allow the clock to run the rest of the game.

Alyssa Curto was able to put a goal in the back of the net in the middle of the fourth quarter, but it was not enough momentum for Life U to make a comeback falling to the Bees 18-4.

Life U's goals came from Nicole Ortiz, Annslee Warchol, and Curto added two.

Life U has earned a No. 4 seed in the SUN Tournament and is set to compete in the first round on Friday, April 19.
