WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Life U men's lacrosse team dropped its last road game of the season to AAC opponent Keiser University, 20-5, on Friday afternoon.
After only trailing by one in the first quarter, the Running Eagles let the Seahawks take control of the game at the end of the first quarter and were never able to recover.
Keiser held Life U scoreless from the 7:14 mark of the second quarter until 5:09 left in the third quarter and built a sizable advantage with a strong offensive attack.
Jacob Long scored a hat trick for Life U, while Josh Bell added two.
The Seahawks won the shot count by a large margin at 40-16 in shots on target. However, Goalie Mason Ogeldoble made his first Life U appearance creating two stops while Colin Willis made 18.Â
Life U was able to put up another goal in the final quarter but it was not enough as Keiser scored another three in the final 15 minutes.
Up next, the Running Eagles will be back home to compete in their last game of the season against Point University at 5 p.m. on Wednesday April 17.
