Flavin Named U15 Pan-Am Coach By USA Wrestling

MARIETTA, Ga. -- Last week, USA Wrestling appointed Coach Ashley Flavin as the U15 Pan-American Coach. This prestigious role will see Flavin lead the U15 team at the upcoming Pan-American Championships in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Coach Flavin previously served as the 2023 U23 World Team coach and 2024 U20 World-Team Coach. Flavin's appointment underscores her growing influence in the sport and her commitment to developing the next generation of wrestlers.

Flavin has been at the helm of Life University's women's wrestling program since the 2017–18 season, following a tenure as a volunteer assistant coach from 2015 to 2017. Under her leadership, the program has seen unprecedented success, including one team NAIA national championship and six individual national champions. Additionally, Life U's Student-Athletes have garnered over 30 All-American honors and several Olympic and World Team Trials qualifiers. Notably, in 2021, Flavin became the first woman to lead a collegiate wrestling team to a national title, securing the NWCA National Duals championship .

Beyond coaching accolades, Flavin is known for dedication to inclusivity. She has worked closely with athletes from diverse backgrounds, ensuring cultural and dietary needs are met. Her commitment to understanding and supporting her athletes off the mat has fostered a positive and inclusive team environment.

As Flavin prepares to lead the U15 Pan American team, her extensive experience and dedication to the sport position her to make a significant impact on the next generation of wrestlers.
