Men's Track & Field Ties for 25th With Three All-Americans at Indoor Nationals

GAINESVILLE, FL. - The Life University men's track and field team left the 2026 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships with multiple podium finishes and three All-Americans. The Running Eagles finished tied for 25th with a total of 10 points.

Day 1 

The men of Life U stepped up to the plate on day one of the 2026 NAIA Indoor Championships ending it on an extremely high note after junior Keondre Glover became the first Running Eagle to be labeled an All-American after a 2.04 meter (6 ft 8 ¼ in) fourth-place finish in high jump. Junior Braden Deal also competed in the event, but no heighted.  

Earlier in the day, the relay team of Arthur Drugeon, Sean HewittAlejandro Ramos Veglio and Abedelemejid Kerebo ran a time of 3:16.09 in the 4x400 meter relay prelims and came away with a 16th place finish.  
 


 

Day 2 

On day two of the NAIA Indoor Championships, the Life U men had another good day after junior Winston Sanders was the second Running Eagle to be deemed All-American. Sanders' mark of 19.08 meters was good enough for a fifth-place finish in the weight throw event. Staying on the field side of the sport, Khalil Carr competed in a stacked long jump competition. Carr's mark of 6.87 meters was good enough for 22nd place. 

On the track, senior Abedelemejid Kerebo and freshman Arthur Drugeon competed in the 800 meter run prelims. Kerebo would go on to a seventh-place finish to advance to finals, after running a time of 1:52.77, while Drugeon would run a time of 1:59.82. In one of the first running events of the day freshman Josh McKinlay ran to a 14th place finish in the mile run prelim after posting a time of 4:17.84. 
 


 

Day 3 

On the longest but final day of the NAIA Indoor National Championships, the Life U men competed until there was nothing left. The day started with senior Abedelemejid Kerebo receiving All-American honors after an eighth-place finish in the 800-meter run. Kerebo ran a time of 1:54.39, adding one point to the team total. In the final event for the Life U men, junior Christian Dixon finished in 18th place after a mark of 15.58 in the shot-put competition. Teammate Darius Barge also competed in the event finishing in 27th place after a toss of 14.78 meters.
