Life University Athletics

Coach Phil Thiel brings a wealth of experience as both coach and player. A graduate of Life University himself, Thiel appeared 36 times in the front row for the United State Eagles including in the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cup. As a coach, Thiel has been heavily involved in the Atlanta-area rugby community having worked with the Atlanta Harlequins and Atlanta RFC as well as the USA Rugby South.
