Trace Chandler enters his 3rd year at Life University as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. He brings a six-year background of experience in the field and has worked with an array of teams at the collegiate level.
Chandler oversees multiple teams in the REP center including men’s and women’s rugby, club rugby, men’s lacrosse, women’s wrestling, swimming, track/field, women’s wrestling, and women’s flag football.
Prior to coming to Life University, Chandler spent 3 years serving as a graduate assistant with the strength and conditioning staff at Charleston Southern University. During this time, he earned a master’s degree in Exercise Science while working with multiple teams alone.
Chandler also attended undergrad at Charleston Southern University. Here he played on their varsity basketball team while earning his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in strength and conditioning.
Chandler is certified through the NSCA (CSCS) and the NCSF (CSC).
He is from Charleston, South Carolina, which is where much of his family resides.
