Dominic Demeritte

Since 2021, Dominic Demeritte has served as the head coach of Life University's men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field teams. Under his leadership, the Running Eagles have captured two NAIA National Championships in the past three years and consistently ranked among the top programs in the country. His teams have produced multiple NAIA individual national champions, national runners-up, and dozens of All-Americans, with student-athletes regularly setting school records across events.

A two-time Olympian for The Bahamas, Demeritte has coached over 100 All-Americans, several Olympians, and World Championship medalists. His athletes have earned conference titles, international medals, and professional contracts, while excelling in the classroom and serving the community. Known for his technical expertise and ability to develop athletes at every level, Demeritte has built a culture of accountability, discipline, and performance.

Demeritte holds a degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He lives in Georgia with his wife, Gianne, and their children Sanae, Saige, and Grayson.
