Devyn Gomez joined the Life University Women’s Wrestling staff in 2024 as the Director of Media and Publicity, bringing with her a strong background as both a high-achieving student-athlete and a communications professional. Before stepping into her current role, Gomez earned her undergraduate degree in Business and a master’s degree in Positive Psychology, and she is now pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Marketing.

As a competitor, Gomez was an integral part of Life U’s historic success on the mat. She helped the program capture back-to-back NWCA National Duals Championships in 2024 and 2025, as well as Mid-South Conference Team Tournament and MSC Regular Season titles. She was a key contributor to the team’s NAIA National Runner-Up finishes in both 2023 and 2024. Individually, Gomez is a three-time NAIA All-American and three-time Mid-South All-Conference honoree, showcasing her consistency and excellence at the highest level of collegiate wrestling.

In her role as Director of Media and Publicity, Gomez combines her championship mindset, academic expertise, and Sports Media skill set to elevate the visibility of Life U Women’s Wrestling, telling the story of the program’s success both on and off the mat.
