    Head Assistant Coach
The Fall of 2023 marks Cole Manion's 5th season as an assistant coach at Life University. Last season, Manion helped lead the team to an NAIA 2nd-place finish for the 2nd season in a row, as well as a runner-up finish at the NWCA National Duals. Coach Cole was also named 2023 Conference Assistant Coach of the Year for back-to-back seasons. In 2021 Manion helped Acosta lead the team that won the 2021 NAIA National Championship. During his time at Life U, he has helped Acosta lead the team to 3 Top 3 finishes at the NAIA National Tournament, 3 Runner-Up finishes at NWCA National Duals, 4 Conference Regular Season championships, 3 Conference Tournament Championships. Individually he has helped Coach Acosta coach 6 National Champions, 14 National Finalists, 29 All-Americans, 45 National Qualifiers, 19 Academic All-Americans, and 83 MSC Academic All-Conference honorees.

Besides his coaching responsibilities, Manion also serves as the program's social media coordinator. He coordinates social media and events for the program, creating and managing content for all social media accounts for Life U's wrestling program, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.
 
Manion is a FHSA State Placer and 2X High School AA. He finished his academic and athletic career at Grand View University where he was part of two NAIA National Championship-winning teams (2018, 2019). He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing.
