Prior Coaching

Before coming to Life University, Yonushonis coached on the University of Maryland staff where he helped the Terps earn 3 All-American honors and a 10th place team finish at the NCAA's (2008-09). Yonushonis coached at Bishop Ready High School in Columbus, Ohio from 2012-2014 where he coached a State Champion and four other state qualifiers. From 2014-2016, he coached at Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio where they finished top 15 in the state (twice) as a team, won a district championship, and had 6 state placers and 14 state qualifiers.

Student-Athlete

Yonushonis was a 2-time State placer at Philipsburg-Osceola High School in Pennsylvania before going on to wrestle at Penn State University where he was an All-American in 2006. After college, he competed to make the U.S. World and Olympic team, climbing as high as 8th in the U.S. rankings.

Education

Yonushonis has a B.S. in Education and is currently in his first quarter in the College of Chiropractic at Life University.

Personal

Yonushonis is married to his beautiful wife Meredith and has four children, Clare, James, Mary Kate and Adeline.
