Coach Heinl enters his first season as a volunteer assistant Coach with the Running Eagles. Heinel was a two-time NCAA Qualifier (149), NWCA DIII All-American Third Team (149), three-time NWCA Scholar All-American (141, 149), and three-time PAC Champion (141,149). Heinel ended his career with the Presidents ranked second all-time in wins (123). In his prep career, Heinl finished sixth all-time in wins at Shaler Area High School with a record of 137-25. 

Heinl earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science in 2020 from Washington & Jefferson College.
