From Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, Dr. Hector’s love of sport, especially track and field, led him to a B.S in Exercise Science & Health Promotion with a minor in massage therapy at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón.
After two years as a personal trainer, a LIFE Leadership Weekend confirmed his calling to chiropractic. During training he mastered multiple techniques and served underserved communities on three mission trips (Haiti/Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Mexico).
He holds a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Master’s in Sport Health Science with a specialization in Sports Chiropractic Care. With a deep grasp of biomechanics, he treats injuries and supports athletes and active individuals, believing that “movement is medicine, and movement is life.” Dr. Hector is also Certified in Graston Technique, an Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Technique (IASTM) which helps to treat and rehab musculoskeletal injuries.
As a former baseball, basketball and track and field athlete, he understands the nature of the sports and the toll it can have on the body, which helps him understand what athletes go through and how he can treat them to improve their performance.
Dr. Hector currently works at a Chiropractic office in Dunwoody Georgia, treating families and has been working under LIFE University Athletic Care since August of 2024.
Purpose and compassion ground his approach as he guides patients to reconnect with their bodies and reach their potential. Outside the office he enjoys lifting, track, family time, movies, bowling, and dancing.
