MARIETTA, Ga. ---- The Life University Athletic department announced late Friday afternoon that it has officially teamed up with strength and conditioning software provider Teambuildr. 
 
"Teambuildr is an industry leader in web-based athlete management and works with high performing programs at every level including the Oklahoma City Thunder, Arsenal FC, and the Chiefs of Super Rugby," Director of Athletics Jayme Pendergast stated.
 
Founded in 2011, Teambuildr refers to their product as a "platform for any coach in any setting". Features include the ability to write robust training programs, build questionnaires tailored towards performance and athlete welfare, full smart device and wearable technology compatibility, and a very user-friendly interface.
 
"It's been a goal of mine to move towards an athlete management platform that optimizes and integrates all facets of performance within each team specifically but also for the athletic department as a whole, " said Director of Student Athlete Performance Tommy Stucky.
 
With Teambuildr's sport science capabilities coaches and trainers are able to generate data reports over time and perform analysis to support the optimal health of their athletes and boost team performance.
 
Additionally, the teambuildr app functions as a communication tool with the ability to send
messages, post to team feeds, view team calendars, and share multimedia and other team or department related documents.
