Running Eagles Close Out Dillard Classic with 102-89 Rout Over Host

NEW ORLEANS – Life University (9-2) won their eighth-straight game with a 102-89 rout over host Dillard University (5-5) in the Dillard Classic on Saturday.
"This was a great way to end this trip," Head Coach
Keith Adkins said. "To leave here with two very good wins is a big boost for us. We have been searching for a good rhythm to our offense and these last couple of games have shown that we are starting to find it. We are starting to make shots and a big reason for that is that we are starting to really improve our shot selection."
Five Running Eagles posted double digits in the win. Senior
Zach Landis paced the squad with a career-high 26 points and seven rebounds, as well as seven assists and two steals. Senior
Michael Miller posted a career-high 20 points with eight assists, two rebounds and a steal. Junior
Deven Dorsett logged 13 points, three rebounds and two assists. Senior
Undra Mitchem put up 12 points in addition to three steals, two rebounds and two assists. Junior
David Scott contributed 10 points with six rebounds and two assists.
The Running Eagles will return home on Thursday, Dec. 7 as they play host to No. 25 Martin Methodist. Earlier this season, Life U defeated the Red Hawks on the road 65-62.
