PIKEVILLE, Ky. ---- The Life University men's soccer team picked up its second consecutive Mid-South Conference win 2-0 on the road over Pikeville University Monday afternoon.
NOTES
• Life U improved to 7-9-1 (3-3) on the year, while Pikeville fell to 8-10 (1-6).
STANDOUT PERFORMERS

Thierry Jules led the way offensively for the Running Eagles with 14 total shots, 10 on frame and two goals. Jules provided the only offense for both teams in the match with the pair of goals. He has scored four goals in the last two matches.

Ahmad Saidy picked up both assists for Life U.
•
Fabian Pekruhl earned the shutout in goal for the Running Eagles with two saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Life U took an early 1-0 lead in the 10th minute as Jules launched a shot from outside the box that was assisted by Saidy.
• Life U led 1-0 at the break as both teams finished with eight shots in the first half.
• Jules struck again in the 57
thminute to give Life U a 2-0 lead in the match.
• The Life U defense held strong as just three shots were allowed in the final 30 minutes of the match. The Running Eagles held on to earn the 2-0 MSC win over Pikeville
