CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. ---- The Life University women's soccer team fell to Campbellsville University 6-1 Thursday night in the Mid-South Conference Tournament that was hosted by Campbellsville.
NOTES
• Life U finishes the season 6-12, while Campbellsville improves to 12-7 on the year to advance to the next round.
• The six wins by the team this season marks a program-high of the third-year program.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Senior
Josie Davis scored the lone goal for the Running Eagles and marked her ninth of the season. She is the career-leader for the program with 25 in her three years on campus.

Annaliese Froese and
Wilma Moberg added the remaining two shots on frame.

Sydney Young and
Julia Bernhardt combined for a total of nine saves in the match.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• 24 minutes into the match, Campbellsville scored two goals within a minute of each other for an early 2-0 lead.
• Davis cut the lead to one for Life U in the 33
rdminute as she intercepted a pass and the shot from distance found the back of the net.
• Seven minutes before the half, Campbellsville added its third goal to lead 3-1 at the break.
• Life U managed two shots on frame in the second half, as Campbellsville scored three additional goals. The Tigers defeated the Running Eagles 6-1 to advance to the next round of the MSC Tournament.
