BOWLING GREEN, Ky. ---- The Life University women's volleyball team fell 3-0 to Georgetown College Thursday night in the Mid-South Conference Tournament Quarterfinals that were hosted at Bowling Green High School. 
 
NOTES
• Life U finished the year 11-22, while Georgetown improved to 19-12.
 
STANDOUT PERFORMERS 
• Gaby Ferran led the way offensively for the Running Eagles with 11 kills. She also picked up eight digs.
• Marin Black totaled 13 digs defensively.
• Amber Harris finished with 14 assists as Taylor Parrish picked up 12.  
 
HOW IT HAPPENED 
• Georgetown led 6-3 early in set one, but a 4-0 run from Life U was capped off with an ace from Dorland to give the Running Eagles a 7-6 lead. An 8-3 run put the Tigers ahead 14-10, however another short 4-0 run was finished with a kill from Zimmerman to tie the set at 14.
• Georgetown responded with a 6-1 run of its own to lead by five, 20-15. The Tigers finished the set on a 5-2 run to take the first set 25-19.
• Georgetown led early in set two, and extended the lead to six, 14-8, after a block. The Tigers led by 10, 22-12, moments later. Life U responded with a 6-1 run to trail 23-18, but Georgetown would take the second set by a 25-19 score line. 
• Georgetown again led early in set three 8-4, but the Running Eagles tied the match at nine with a 5-1 run that ended with a Zimmerman kill. The two teams traded points as Life U trailed by one, 19-18, late in the set. Georgetown finished the match on a 6-1 run to win the third set 25-19. 
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Georgetown led Life U in kills 41-34. Life U finished with a hitting percentage of .113 as Georgetown finished with a .300.
• Life U led Georgetown in digs 53-46.
• Life U committed 21 errors to the eight from Georgetown.
