SELMA, Ala. – Life University (11-17) ended the non-conference slate with a 75-59 win over Selma University on Tuesday.
"It's always great to be on the winning side of an ugly game," Head Coach
Anthony Maxwell said.
Four Running Eagles finished in double figures on the night. Senior
Kennesha Nichols paced the squad with a double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds. Both sophomores
Tierra Lindsey and
Lucy Stone posted double-doubles with Lindsey putting up 18 points with 10 rebounds and Stone putting up 18 points with 10 assists. Sophomore
Damiya Montgomery contributed 10 points.
The Running Eagles will return home for the final two-game homestand of the regular season on Thursday, Feb. 22 as they play host to Pikeville.
