Life Falls in MSC Quarterfinal

Pikeville, KY. Fifth-seeded Campbellsville took control of the second half to upset fourth-seeded Life in the first round of the MSC Men's Basketball Tournament, 82-64.
The Tigers (22-9) used a strong defensive effort after halftime to secure the win. After Life (20-11) shot 51.6 percent in the first half, Campbellsville limited Life to just 8-of-33 (24.2 percent) after the break. Life lead the Tigers 42-34 after the first half, with
Deven Dorsett Scoring 13 of his team-high 20 points before the final frame.
Campbellsville came out firing in the second half, going on an 18-0 run to take a 52-42 lead over the Running Eagles. Life's
Michael Miller knocked down two free throws to end the Running Eagles' nearly five-minute draught.
Zach Landis scored 10 points in addition to 10 rebounds for the Running Eagles, who will have to wait until March 7
th to know if they make it into the 32-team field of the NAIA National Tournament in Kansas City, which begins March 14
th. The Running Eagles were national runners-up in the 2017 national tournament.
