GAINESVILLE, Ga. ---- The Life University women's soccer team fell in double overtime to Brenau University 3-2 on the road late Tuesday evening.
NOTES
• Despite trailing 2-0 early in the game, Life U fought back to tie the game with two goals of its own.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
• Newcomer
Jasmine Turner scored her first career goal with an assist from
Aylin Lopez in the first half.

Josie Davis led the team in total shots with three and scored the equalizer on an assist from
Callie Lambert.

Sydney Young picked up six saves in goal, while
Katelynn Harbeke,
Elin Josefsson and Lambert each added two shots during the match.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• 13 minutes into the match, Rivera scored an early goal for Brenau to put the Golden Tigers ahead 1-0.
• Shots were limited in the first half, however Brenau scored its second goal of the match in the 34
thminute to lead 2-0.
• Less than a minute later, Life U responded as Turner found the back of the net with the assist from Lopez to bring the game to within one just before the half.
• In the 68
thminute of the match, Davis found the equalizer on an assist from Lambert to tie the game at two. Neither team had an attempt at goal in the final 20 minutes of regulation to send the game into extra time.
• In the first ten minutes of overtime, both teams had an attempt at goal, however neither were successful to head into the final period of extra time.
• Five minutes into the second overtime, the Golden Tigers scored the golden goal to win the match 3-2.
