MARIETTA, Ga. ---- The Life University women's volleyball team fell in three sets to No. 4 nationally ranked Lindsey Wilson College at home Friday night to open up Mid-South Conference play.

• Life U fell to 5-13 (0-1) while Lindsey Wilson improved to 13-2 (3-0)
STANDOUT PERFORMERS

Chelsea Hill led the way offensively with 13 kills, and
Liz Mann picked up 12.

Taylor Parrish totaled 33 assists in the match.

Marin Black picked up 20 digs defensively as
Mary Zimmerman picked up two block assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Lindsey Wilson led the entire first set to win 25-15.
• In set number two, the two teams traded point for point, as Life U led 18-17 on a kill from Hill. Life U tied the match at 20 after a kill from Mann, however a 4-0 late run from Lindsey Wilson gave the Blue Raiders the 25-21 win in set two.
• Life U jumped out to an early 8-3 lead in set three after an ace from Black. Lindsey Wilson came back to tie the set at 12, but a 4-0 run from Life U was capped off with a block from Parrish and Zimmerman as the Running Eagles led 16-12.
• A 4-0 run from Lindsey Wilson gave the Blue Raiders a 20-19 lead. Both teams traded points as a kill from Hill brought the Running Eagles to within one, 23-22. Lindsey Wilson ended the match on an ace to take the 25-22 win in set three.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Lindsey Wilson led Life U in kills 46-37. Lindsey Wilson had a hitting percentage of .268 and Life U finished with a .142.
• Life U committed only 19 errors to the 13 from Lindsey Wilson.
• Lindsey Wilson held the advantage in digs over Life U 61-55.
