BOWLING GREEN, Ky. ---- The No. 5 seeded Life University women's volleyball team came up short against No. 1 seeded and No. 10 nationally ranked Lindsey Wilson College in the Mid-South Conference Tournament Semifinals Friday night.
NOTES
• Life U finishes the year 20-11, which marks just the second 20-win season in program history.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS

Zykeria Allen led the way offensively for the Running Eagles with 14 kills and two block assists. She hit .345 in the match with just four errors.
•
Lena Pucnik also finished in double figures with 13 kills and six digs.
•
Marin Black finished with a match-high 18 digs as
Taylor Parrish tallied 29 assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Lindsey Wilson led 9-5 early in set one, but a 4-0 run from Life U tied the set. Lindsey Wilson regained the lead and used a late 4-1 run to lead 20-16. Life U cut the lead to three, 22-19, before Lindsey Wilson finished the set on a 3-0 run to win 25-19.
• Life U jumped out to an early 12-7 lead in the second set after a kill from Allen and a set error on Lindsey Wilson. The Blue Raiders responded with a 5-0 run to tie the set. The two teams traded points, but a 4-1 Lindsey Wilson run gave the No. 1 seed a 17-15 advantage. Life U kept the set close, but a final 4-1 run from Lindsey Wilson ended the set 25-21 in the Blue Raiders' favor.
• Life U led 5-4 early in set three, but Lindsey Wilson went on a 5-1 run to lead 9-6. A 7-2 Blue Raider run gave Lindsey Wilson a 16-10 lead before a kill from Zimmerman stopped the run. Life U responded with a late 4-1 run that was finished on a block from Benton and Furness to cut the deficit to four, 19-15. Lindsey Wilson finished the match on a 6-0 run to earn the 3-0 victory 25-15.
