COCHRAN, Ga. ---- The Life University women's soccer team was outshot 26-6 Tuesday night in a 4-1 road loss to (RV) Middle Georgia State University.
NOTES
• Life U fell to 0-6 on the year, as Middle Georgia improved to 6-1.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
•
Alexandra Collighan led the Running Eagles with all six shots and scored the lone goal of the match for Life U.
• Bernhardt totaled six saves in goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Middle Georgia scored its first goal of the match in the 25
th minute, as Life U had not had a shot on frame.
• Collighan landed her first shot on frame with 14 minutes remaining in the half, however the Running Eagles trailed 1-0 at the break.
• Middle Georgia scored its second goal just 18 seconds into the second half to lead 2-0.
• The Knights added their final two goals two minutes apart from each other to lead 4-0 with 12 minutes on the clock. Collighan found the back of the net with 4:30 remaining in the match, however Middle Georgia claimed the 4-1 victory.
