MARIETTA, GA — The Life U Women's Basketball Team continued to a three-game win streak on Saturday against Cumberland University (Tenn).
The Women also honored three seniors prior to their win. The Glenn Sisters: Kiana and Kiara, along with Tierra Lindsey would be recognized for their efforts as Running Eagles.
Entering the first quarter, the Women would start with a 6-0 run against the Phoenix. They would continue their lead, and keep Cumberland in single digits, closing out the first with a 15-5 lead.
In the second quarter, the Women would continue their run, with a score of 34-9 at the five-minute mark. The Running Eagles would hit the 40-point mark before the send of the second half; they would shoot 80 percent from the field, 66.67 percent from beyond the arc, and 50 percent from the line.
Entering the third quarter, Life U would keep up the intensity, with a 30-point lead over the Phoenix. They would maintain the lead throughout the third and enter the fourth with more of the same.
In the fourth, the Running Eagles Women would keep a persistent lead over the Phoenix. Scoring 20 points in the final quarter, they would close out with a win at home, 90-64.
Efforts come from Sydni Tears, who finished with 23 points. Seniors Tierra Lindsey, and Kiana Glenn would finish with 15 and 14 points respectively.

The Women will hit the road, taking on Thomas More and Georgetown on 2/29 and 2/29. These will be the final regular season games for the Running Eagles.
