CLEVELAND, Ga. ---- The No. 9 nationally ranked Life University women's lacrosse team earned the 17-6 road victory Saturday afternoon against Truett McConnell.

Tina Ricci led the way for the Running Eagles with four goals. She added six ground balls, four caused turnovers, three draw controls and a pair of assists.

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
• Life U jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first ten minutes as Clum scored a pair with assists from Quartermous and Ricci. Arvizu and Warchol also found the back of the net in the span.
• Another 4-0 run from Life U put the Running Eagles ahead 8-0 as Ricci, Le and Freeman scored with Arvizu picking up her second.
• With 3:42 on the clock, Truett McConnell scored its first goal of the game as Life U finished the half on a 3-0 run to lead 11-1 at the break.
• Truett McConnell went on a 4-2 run in the first 17 minutes of the second half to cut the lead to 13-5.
• Life U finished the game on a 4-1 run in the final 11 minutes to earn the 17-6 win.
